Custom PC Builds:
By purchasing a custom-built PC from Aaron's Computer Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Our custom-built PCs come with a 1-year limited warranty, effective from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This warranty includes labor for assembly and installation. Individual components, such as the processor, graphics card, motherboard, RAM, storage drives, power supply, and case, are covered under their respective manufacturer warranties, which may extend beyond our warranty period. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or neglect. Customers are responsible for proper care and maintenance of their PC.
In the event of a warranty claim, customers must contact Aaron's Computer Services for authorization before returning the product for service. Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the PC for warranty service unless otherwise agreed upon.
Aaron's Computer Services provides technical support via phone, email, or a support ticket system during the warranty period. By purchasing a custom-built PC, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.
Privacy & Data Handling:
At Aaron's Computer Services, we prioritize your privacy and the security of your data. For service purposes, we collect basic personal information, including your name, phone number, address, and email. This data is used solely to facilitate your requests for services such as custom PC builds, repairs, and servicing. As a HIPAA-certified professional entity, we adhere to stringent data protection protocols, ensuring the secure handling of your personal and device data during servicing and repairs.
We take all necessary precautions to protect the data stored on your devices during repairs and servicing. Your device data remains strictly confidential, and we commit to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security. We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
Repairs and Servicing:
Aaron's Computer Services will assess a minimum fee for the diagnosis and/or repair of any computer or system, which will include at least one hour of labor or a diagnostic fee. Additional charges for onsite visits will be calculated based on travel distance and communicated upfront. Aaron's Computer Services will not commence any repair work without the customer's approval.
Should further issues beyond the initial assessment arise, the customer will be informed and provided with a cost estimate before additional work is performed. Used parts are thoroughly tested before sale; however, they are purchased 'as-is' and are not covered by any warranty from Aaron's Computer Services.
Aaron's Computer Services shall not be liable for any damages or data loss resulting from viruses, operating system malfunctions, system crashes, or user negligence. Nonetheless, we will endeavor to mitigate, repair, or prevent any such harm or data loss to the best of our ability.
It is the customer's responsibility to maintain all necessary software licenses for their computer or system. Aaron's Computer Services will not be accountable for any software rendered unusable due to lost licenses or the presence of unlicensed software.
Customers are required to back up all important data before servicing any machine with Aaron's Computer Services. While we take all reasonable precautions to safeguard data, we cannot assume responsibility for any data loss incurred during servicing.
Aaron's Computer Services retains the discretion to decline services for issues that fall outside our expertise or service capabilities.
